United expects first premium-heavy 767 in February

The first aircraft in the configuration, which is dubbed the "76L" by the Chicago-based carrier, is due for completion in mid-February after an initial target date of 18 January, FlightGlobal understands. Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO) is handling the reconfiguration work.

Airbus confirms talks with Emirates over A380 contract

Emirates, the largest operator of the ultra-large aircraft, firmed a follow-on order for 20 of the type in February 2018. This covers the first part of a fresh commitment for 36 A380s, tentatively struck in January of that year. The commitment was crucial to the continued production of the A380.

SkyWest orders nine E175s for service with Delta

SkyWest will operate the E175s for Delta under a nine-year contract. The aircraft will replace nine Bombardier CRJ900s that the regional carrier operates for Delta, SkyWest says.
